First stepping into the scene with a set of 990v3 projects from a few yew years ago, the Miami-born label offers up two Made In UK 991 options inspired by vintage robots and mech warriors, tying into the tech-performance introduced by the new balance 550 shifted sport pack green model when it was first brought to market in 2001.
Each colorway sports a supple mix of suede and nubucks – one with black, grey, and purple palette and a second with brown, maroon, and neons. A forefoot logo hit sees the brand’s namesake embroidered in lower case with two back-slashes, while custom insoles and shoeboxes feature its famed mascot in 8-bit form.
