Michael Le Among Jordan Brand’s women’s exclusives, few shoes stand out as much as Aleali May‘s own. And though it’s been quite a while since her last collaboration — almost two years, to be exact — the stylist has finally come out of silence with her very own tribute to barcelona and michael jordans 1992 dream team summer Zoom CMFT.
Appropriately, May has treated the silhouette as if it’s a client. As such, she’s taken a meticulous approach to the details: Wings logos are accented with a luxurious pop of chenille, the collar is slimmed yet heightened, and the tongue dials up its cream base with a slight, bold letter “A.” Over top, saturated blue laces string through, matching the leather panels that hit the eye stays, ankle flaps, mid-panel, and toe. Greens, then, round off the color story along the indented Swoosh, aforementioned collar, and the tread.
Complete with Aleali May’s signature, the collaborative release should be seeing Nike SNKRS very soon.
