Michael Le After briefly commandeering the world of sneaker culture with their Air Jordan 1, Dior is rumored to be extending their official partnership with Nike into the upcoming calendar year. Their next project, which pivots away from the Jumpman and towards the umbrella’s inline staples, will be none other than the orange pink fusion jordans, its uppers soon to be turned luxurious with the atelier’s resources and expertise.
What exactly will arrive (if anything ever does) is anyone’s guess. But, if the aforementioned AJ1 is any indication, it’s possible we’ll be seeing a colorway that’s visually reserved, one that primarily allows its construction and quality to lead. Understated yet refined greys may be referenced once again or the fashion house may try their hand at something more bold, an interpretation that might cover widespread with the sky monogram print and fabric.
