And now, the Swoosh’s running category has just uncovered their newest proposal for the Spring season, arriving in the form of the Alphina 5000. From a design perspective, this new model comes as an ode to one of Nike’s technological advancements from 2008 – Flywire. The popular band support system is paired up next to 2000s-inspired running features such as its carved-out and chunky midsoles reminiscent of the P-6000 silhouette. Modernized touches are presented through elements such as the TPU Swoosh panel affixed onto the lateral walls, the abstract/futuristic overlays, and the added midsole panel that houses an additional branded embellishment. Two colorways including multi-color and grey variations are set to debut this Spring on Nike.com, so keep it locked as we learn more of its official launch date and pricing info.
