Although the shoe’s top construction – debuting in a “Blue Void” colorway – has been reinforced via ridges made into it, the forthcoming shoe’s most innovative feature is perhaps the partitioned cushioning unit. Made up of two Zoom Air units at the forefoot and Cushlon foam at the heel, the SuperRep’s divided sole may turn potential customers away, but its performance benefits outweigh the peculiar design given that the former intends to provide responsiveness when jumping and the latter impact-absorption from high-intensity reps or cushion when lifting.
