Ross Dwyer Wrestling icon Ric Flair‘s enthusiastic affection for sneakers is well-known, and now the Nature Boy is making his official entry into the world of footwear, thanks to a new partnership with adidas. In his typical hilarious over-the-top fashion, Flair “announced” the partnership during a TMZ video, shouting “Ready for the good news? adidas thinks I’m ‘The Man.’ I signed a deal with them, and we’re fixin’ to make Nike the second brand, OK? It’s not gonna be Air Jordan anymore, it’s gonna be Air Flair and I can’t jump,” followed by a hearty “WOOOO!” It remains to be seen what the nature of the Nature Boy’s partnership with the Three Stripes will entail, but he brings a fresh perspective and unique bombast to a roster that already includes luminaries like Kanye West/James Harden, adidas gazelle raw amber rose Kid Cudi and Liam Gallagher.
