Just 500 pairs were released and they were all snatched up this weekend. This clever and tasteful homage to the past would have been as successful had they chose to go larger scale, but it’s refreshing to see a drop of this nature – and it’s come to be expected from a retailer like Packer that aims to go against the grain and deliver something with impact.
