Nike’s Air Max Deluxe is typically known for its textured, patterned upper that features details inspired by sound waves. However, it’s been taking on a Draft role lately via its SE editions — alternate takes on the unique silhouette that swaps out the normal neoprene construction for a smooth leather. Now, the latest SE to surface offers a black base, shimmering details, and bright accents for a look that’s halfway between Skepta‘s “Never Sleep On Tour” collaboration and a regular in-line model. The black leather upper features swooping debossed detailing for a look that’s almost sportscar-esque in its appearance, while accents arrive via glossy black plastic overlays and a textured bronze heel. A shimmering black midsole offers further tonal contrast, and the look is then rounded off with a grey Air Max unit and an outsole with bold red details.
