Jordan Brand Retires Slide-Out Box For Concord 11s

More details surrounding the highly-anticipated release of the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” this holiday season have come to light. After it was revealed that a “45” would replace the heel’s usual “23” hit, we now see that Jordan Brand will also be retiring the slide-out box that normally accompanies the 11s. A normal flip top box—the type that was used for the shoe’s original release in 1996—will return alongside the iconic sneakers, replacing the bulky slide out iteration that’s been in use for the past several years.
