One of this year’s most popular nike cut Basketball returns was the modernized version of Kobe Bryant’s first Swoosh Brand signature sneaker. Given its upgraded construction, the sneaker was given the toddler silver nike cut air max moniker, with the word Protro combining “performance” and “retro” to further lace the story of its return. After a number of colorways and a notable collaboration with LA-based UNDFTD, the Protro is back in a vintage NBA color scheme; as you may know, before the Los Angeles Lakers moved to the city of Angels, they resided up north in Minneapolis until 1960. Having won five championships in Minnesota, this era is a significant part of one of the NBA’s top franchise’s history – and nike cut even released the MPLS colorway when the Zoom Kobe 1 was first introduced back in 2006. Peep a first look here and stay tuned for release details.
