Ben Felderstein Long-time collaborators Vans and Metallica are back together again, creating a four-piece collection centered around two of the iconic skate brand’s top silhouettes. As two of the top entities in their respective industries, the partnership between them has led to very successful drops in the past. While the pairings “Kill ‘Em All” project from 2013 featured some boisterous graphics, these new offerings portray a much simpler black and white aesthetic. Highlighted by a newly designed Metallica logo, the Vans Sk8-Hi and Slip-On silhouettes come dressed in full grain leather and canvas respectively and are equipped with the band’s name laser-etched into their sidewalls.
