New Balance enters 2017 by proudly announcing a brand-new lifestyle sneaker, the 247. Designed with the Classic blend of modern style and the quality craftsmanship and heritage that New Balance is known for, the 247 takes inspiration from the past while looking forward to the current and future sneaker trends. The silhouette offers a new look with modern technology to enhance comfort, but with some nods to a few of the brand’s most classic retro runners including the 574, 998, and 1300.
The shoe debuts at retail this January in an ultra-premium rendition known as the 247 Luxe, featuring a full-grain leather upper with asymmetrical perforation details that pair with a stretchy synthetic nubuck sock construction for foot-hugging comfort with a sophisticated look. The 247 Luxe will make its entrance in three colorway options: tan, white, and black that each sit atop an off-white REVlite sole with tan and black details.
The new balance 990v2 dark turquoise Luxe launches January 7, 2017 at NewBalance.com and select retailers for $120. To celebrate, that day New Balance will be hosting seven events around the globe in New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Seoul that each highlight the local culture and community.
