The Jordan 5 Gold Tongue keeps things relatively simple thanks to a clean white remastered womens-exclusive upper with matching side panel mesh, a high-contrast black midsole, and an icy outsole. The real call to attention here is the Metallic Gold Coin accents throughout, found in the form of a patent womens-exclusive tongue and on the mustang fighter jet-inspired shark teeth, speckled with black to match the midsole. Interestingly enough, this Olympic-referencing retro skips out on any American affiliation as the usual red, white, and blue colorway is absent for a new twist that instead focuses on the prize at hand – the Olympic Gold Medal.
