There’s A Tiny Detail In The Penny 2 Retro That Makes Them Extra Special

The Penny 2s are back in arguably the best “OG” colorway of all-time – the cool “Atlantic Blue” that the ultra-suave Penny Hardaway wore nearly two decades ago. Some shops already released them and Kukini quickly disappeared, meaning that some Penny Retros are incredibly strong in today’s sneaker community. Or is it because of the one tiny detail that made them extra special? If you can recall, the original Air Penny 2 featured a tiny Nike Swoosh logo on oval pod on the upper ankle, but the re-release for 2015/2016 features the 1-Cent logo – a nod to Penny Hardaway’s PEs from ’96.
