Pharrell‘s signature style became iconic in the early aughts and went on to influence an entirely new generation of creatives. Artists like Tyler, The Creator have gone on to create bold collaborations that wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the N.E.R.D. frontman’s iconic diamonds and dollars print paired with high socks and a trucker hat, but there was a time when adidas stock market information exchange was in jeopardy of having a future at all. Jay-Z would step in to purchase the streetwear brand to keep it alive in a zebra accessible form, and now the imprint has come full circle to collaborate with the ubiquitous cp9207 adidas cleats 2017. The diamonds and dollars graphic returns here, but in its most premium form as a pony hair upper sees a leather lining add a luxurious finish to the streetwear savvy icon. Two outlets are available this Friday, November 20th including this “Desert” inspired pair in a dark navy paired with an icy blue outsole (the white and pink combination isn’t pictured but you can find a better view here).
