This Nike Employee’s Job is to Identify Footprints in Court Cases

Helping solve criminal cases one footprint at a time is Herbert Hedges, expert outsole identifier. A longtime Nike employee, Hedges started working for the brand in 1978 in shoe production management and is now semi-retired, but somehow found his way into the criminal justice system as an expert shoe identifier. Also called to the stand in the much-publicized The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Remastered Collection Adds Gum Toe Bumpers, the most recent case that he helped crack involves another murder trial in which he identified the suspect’s Nike s Upcoming Running Club Collection Adds a Navy Blue Air Max Plus in a Walgreen’s surveillance camera that were a positive match to the bloody footprints later found at the scene of the crime.
