This shoe harkens back to one of the most memorable sneakers released in the LeBron line, and it just so happened to be a member of The King’s first silhouette release slate. The nike Tomorrow Zoom Generation “Wheat” definitely caught the attention of the sneaker world at a time when LeBron’s first sneaker was a questionable pick-up. Even despite the fact that Tinker Hatfield had a hand in the design and the shoe had a cool narrative of being inspired by the controversial H2 Hummer that the teenager drove around in High School (a car his mom took out a loan for based on her son’s future earning potential) it took this Timberland-boot like colorway to put people on notice. Now 12 years later, people are begging for a retro of LeBron’s first model, and he’s dominated the sneaker landscape in terms of active players. The lifestyle unicorn EXT model features a premium Metallic Gold Swoosh to coincide with the ’12th Generation’ Wheat aesthetic.
