Jones had just wrapped a strong rookie season followed by a stellar sophomore campaign. Eventually Kobe took over as the teams lead guard, but not before Jones make his present felt in the association. The Temple University alum would eventually become a perennial all-star, getting the nod three times in his celebrated career. And during that time in the league, Jones, more often than not, wore Jordans.
