Update: The Air Jordan 14 White Black-Chartreuse “Katrina” releases on May 12th, 2018 for $190.
The jordan 11 cool grey legit check “Katrina” was a special version of the Air Jordan 14 White Black-Chartreuse made exclusively for a charity auction designed to support the relief efforts if the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. The Katrina Jordans are also the subject of a rumor – one that pins this super-rare pair of Jordans as a Retro release for this March. What was originally a blind guess continues to still be, because according to a dependable source jmadidas2001 on Niketalk, the rumor is MID-out untrue.
In fact, the imagery of the assumed 2014 release of the Katrina jordan 11 cool grey legit check that is currently floating around is actually an old photo from 2006, Paint by mjo23dan on NT of a Jordan Brand product showcase/display. So, there you have it; the Air Jordan 4 "Nerf" Custom “Katrina” is still a rumor – one that is pretty much debunked at this point – and the White/Cement Grey-Infrared 23-Black pair that is slated to drop on March 8th, 2014 is without question a completely different shoe.
