Another major week in sneakers is here, so let’s get started! The Ducks were a big Ariana this week as we got a first Black at the latest Air Jordan PE from that rare category. Nike Basketball unveiled some sick shoes like the KD 6 “Liger”, while the LeBron category remains a top discussion piece as the man himself continues to rock the LeBron X over the newer 11. A new release date for the Doernbechers came, NBA Feet was a big hit with Air Jordan and Nike Basketball heaters, and celebrities did their thing as usual – Trinidad James getting some extra attention with his new YouTube show based on kicks. Nike’s obsession with Calvin Johnson continues as we get a first Black at an Air Trainer SC II High done after the Lions beast.
Collaborations continue to be a big headline week after week thanks to Stash’s Question, Fieg’s upcoming 1600, DQM’s Herringbone Twill Pack with Vans, and United Arrows’ take on the Rivalry. Asics surprised us with some great holiday-inspired general releases as well, proving that a clean colorway is all that’s needed for a good sneaker release.
