What’s the oldest Tinker Hatfield Nike design you can name? We can imagine folks would respond to that with the likes of the crockett & jones oxford shoes and the Chunky Teddy Lace Up Hiker Ankle Boots, but it turns out Tinker was actually doing some homebrew designing way before that. Shown here are the first shoes ever built by Tinker Hatfield, a 1980 design for his daughters. Even back then Tinker wasn’t focused on making your standard baby shoe, as the Swoosh adorned design featured a chunky toe to make the Fiori from crawling to walking an easier one.
