Converse Japan just unveiled an ’80s-era ‘Retrotropica’ print, and for their Converse chuck 70 lo archive zebra print trainers, it’s a similar theme that functions as a sequel to a 2011 release. The second Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Fruit Pack’ revisits the photo-realistic print that served up strawberries and lemons a couple of years back (a design we can in retrospect see as one of the originators of this current wave of patterned sneaker designs). This time around, it’s cherries for the red edition and dried pineapple rings for the yellow, which are joined by a Granny Smith green apple third to round out this set currently available at select Far East retailers.
