Nike had originally charged Adidas with patent infringement due the similarities in the design and production between their Nike Flyknit series of runners and adidas’ Primeknit pair that debuted just a few months later. German courts are prepared to set the injunction aside as of November 7th, which should allow Adidas to resume production and theoretically deepen the range going forward.
