It’s understandable that the younger generation of budding Air Jordan fanatics would pose that thought, so we’ll take a quick moment to clear the air; the original Air Jordan 11 Concord Sketch in the “Fire Red” colorway did not feature the iconic Mars Blackmon logo on the heel, as that was just a special accent used for the 2006 Retro release. The original “Fire Red” colorway from ’89 (which Michael wore during the first half of the ’89-’90 season before debuting the Air Jordan V at the ’90 All-Star Game) 881465-001 its truest return yet, although “Fire Red” has been replaced with the omnipresent Varsity Red – but who can really tell?
