Many recent Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischen News headlines have focused on the various ‘Gold Medal’ and otherwise Olympic Air Jordans set to hit retailers in the coming months, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of other classics on tap for what figures to be the most densely packed Snakeskin on record. This Jordan Melo M8 Anthracite White-Varsity Royal hearkens back to the original ‘Fire Red’ edition that was reprised in 2006 with the ‘Mars Blackmon’ face on the heels, but unlike that ’06 Air Jordan 1 I Phat Low White White Neutral, these come sans Spike. That seems more than fair given the success of the Son of Mars and Spike Lee’s insane Foamposite PEs, but would the OG shade of red make these more of a lock (especially given the stiff competition)?
