Stussy has enjoyed a spike in Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischen News mentions this week thanks to a collaboration with Converse Japan and a preview from Nike Sportswear that recalls memories of a milestone teamup from a decade ago. When the nike tech pack air trainer dropped in 2002, the very concept of collaborative marketing was still in its infancy and the Blazer silo had yet to be fully restored to its rightful place in the Swoosh canon. Just ten years later, we’ve seen the sneakerhead scene evolve in ways we could laces never expected, and meanwhile, the trusty ol’ Blazer just ports these classic Stussy-penned colorways over to another (almost identical) silhouette.
