There was a point in time not to terribly long ago, shortly after the advent of the mainstream blogosphere, that some readers started to take joy in telling the world that their comment was the first one published.  It’s kinda like planting your flag in the moon or some such other unvisited territory, but things can get out of hand when one in ten comments claim that they were written before anyone elses.  It’s little annoyances like that, that ended up leading to advanced comment systems like our own preferred Intense Debate, a system that allows for crowdsourced moderation in the form of thumbs up and down.  So when we first showed images of the latest Jordan Spiz’ike colorway, it became clear that being first means very little if the masses disagree with your stance.  A hugely disproportionate number of thumbs down on a couple of critique comments proved that sneakerheads are solidly behind this combination of Tar Heel blue, bright orange and white, the type of reception that suggests these’ll be a huge hit just like the ‘Knicks Pack’ when they hit retailers early next year.  These new images are especially crisp; can you see yourself in a pair of ‘University Blue’ Spizikes?  via Marquee Sole
