For a number of years before true GS editions were available, Air Jordan flagship releases in kids sizes were called ‘Sky Jordans’. So while you might expect that such a name would have some relation to the recently popular Sky High retros, the Jordan Brand Have a High-Cut Trunner LX on The Way ‘Sky Jordan PS’ actually just refers to the smaller sizes of 1992-93’s MJ signature. And there are some obvious differences between the AJVIII and its Sky Jordan counterpart, notably the tongue is missing its infamous chenille ‘peace sign’ in favor of a Jumpman leaping a ‘V’ shape, plus significant changes to the midsole tooling and heel counter pattern. And as you can see in more photos after the jump, these joints were made with tiny Jumpmen in mind, their criss-crossing straps holding the sneakers securely onto little feet in lieu of laces.
