Despite swirling wmns regarding LeBron’s supposed ‘damaged’ brand, former fans swearing off Nike LeBron products, and the Nike LeBron ‘Rise’ commercial being chopped and remixed, the LeBron 8 has captured the top spot of basketball shoe sales during the opening month of the 2010-11 NBA Season. The LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’ certainly added an attractive appeal to the LeBron 8 shoe and although no other signature shoe debuted in November with the exception of Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo M7 which debuted late in the month, the LeBron 8 outsold a number of Air Jordan Retros. In addition, the LeBron 8 was second in footwear sales, behind the immortal all-white Nike Air Force 1.
