When the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Workboot’ dropped in late 2009, the world took notice. Not only did the buy nike zoom turbine show up on everything from the Air Royal to the Air Flytop from Nike, but Reebok got on board, as did A Bathing Ape. The key distinguishing feature of these is the premium leather upper paired with metal eyelets and corded laces, which you’re also likely to find on a good hiking boot. Maybe that’s why the latest releases in a similar motif are dubbed the Air Force 1 Low ‘Hiking Pack’, but either way, they’re as rugged as beautiful gets. Two super-clean colorways are on tap for an October release, with a black pair adding white contrast stitching and a grey pair going the ultra route.
