The forefoot features three prominent flex-grooves while the heel is designed with a Y-cut groove pattern for optimal 360-degree maneuverability. Speaking on the overall design of the traction pattern – one could assume that it is either inspired by snakeskin or perhaps derived from the heartbeat motif used in the Kobe V, or even a different human organ – the honeycomb infrastructure of the human lungs.
