LA-based artist Donny Miller made his name with sarcastic commercial simulacrae, so it’s no surprise that his work for Vans Vault is irreverent. Combining two of Off the Wall’s biggest hits, Miller painted laces and Era-like stitching onto the Vans Vault Slip On. He even went the extra mile and made them look pre-worn with crease shadows drawn under the laces. It remains to be seen how that will look once these canvas kicks actually break in, but you can find out when they drop at select Vans Vault retailers soon. via Provider
