Taka Hayashi’s take on the Vans Sk8-Hi silhouette transformed it into something totally new. Jason Jessee took a different route, subtly accenting the classic design with a couple key features. The Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi ‘S’ comes to us in a rich black leather upper with white contrast stitching. It’s heavily padded, compared to typical Sk8-Hi releases, but it’s anything but stiff around the ankles, thanks to a notch cut into the heel. There’s a brown pair on the way soon and футболки black joints are available at retailers like Gettry.
