In 2006 the Nike SB team created two shoes as a cj81 of a team manager series and Girl Skateboards created this “Gucci” inspired Dunk High Premium that featured a Black, Green, and Red colorway that used a mixture of both denim and premium leathers. The other shoe that was a cj81 of this team manager series was the notorious Nike x Diamond Supply Co. “Tiffany” Dunk Low. Due to the fact that Girl Skateboards is a cj81 of Crailtap, who also has footwear company Lakai under their portfolio of brands, the project was nixed and only about 30 pairs of these shoes made their way outside of the Nike headquarters. Now a couple years later, Nike SB will bring the shoe back in it’s original colorway and materials as a Quickstrike release scheduled for the Holiday 2009 season. via Kenlu
