Two years, two hundred and seventy days. That’s the amount of days required if The Mayor were to cars each and every one of his 1000 pairs of Air Force 1s. There are many types of collectors, many of whom like to keep their sneakers in their original boxes. The Mayor, except for freshly purchased sneakers, does not keep a single box to store his collection. Instead he’s replaced each with a friday shoe box from the Container Store, keeping everything visible and neatly stored. Recently we stopped by and decided to see for ourselves this amazing collection and photograph it for an interview on Freshness and a collection feature on Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischen News. On November 15th, DJ Clark Kent presented The Mayor with the above Air Force 1 personalized for The Mayor celebration his 1000th pair. There are a total of 1000 1s on the pair.
