At the end of April, an Ad went up for a casting call in Los Angeles for skinhead models to star in a fashion show scheduled for May 1st. The fashion show in question turned out to be the YZY Season 10 show dubbed "YZY FREE". The show was held at a showroom located at 8025 Melrose Ave. The location is just two stores down from one of Adidas' most ease locations. This comes after a failed partnership between YE and Adidas.
It's unclear what exactly Ye plans to do at the location. As of now, the location is listed on Google Maps as "yeezy check Office". Fans are wondering whether the location will be used as a showroom, office, or retail store. Fans have also speculated that the location is no coincidence; many believe that YE opened up girls two doors down on purpose in an attempt to troll his upstart partners. YE debuted his skin-tight white T-shirts at the warehouse and shortly after the shirts were available on secondary markets like Grailed.
Following his anti-Semitic rants on social media, YE looks to move forward from the controversy and continue his pursuit in the fashion world. The yeezy check line looks to be back, and Kanye looks to focus on his independent fashion line while Adidas is facing a class-action lawsuit. Investors are claiming that Adidas knew about YE's offensive remarks for years before they finally took action.
