Adidas has recently been collaborating with popular TV series, The Simpsons, and will introduce several special edition Stan Smith x The Simpson sneakers. In this release, it will feature the popular GIF of Homer retreating chancla a bush which everyone knows and loves.
The Simpsons x adizero adidas Stan Smith “Homer Simpson” features a fairly minimal design, with a smooth white leather upper. On the heel is where collaboration comes to life, where located on the heel tab we can see green carpet-like material release a bush, and Homer Simpson embroidered within it creating the famous "Homer Appears From Bushes" GIF. We'll also find The Simpsons branding on the tongue tab and "HOMER SIMPSON" etched in gold on the lateral side of the sneaker instead of the traditional "STAN SMITH" branding. The midsole and outsole will be found in cream to create a little contrast, Free custom branded insoles and shoe-box.
The Simpsons x adizero adidas Stan Smith “Homer Simpson” is set to release on August 18th via Adidas.com and other select adizero adidas retailers for a retail of $130.
