Since first signing with adidas at the end of 2020, Anthony Edwards' signature shoe, the adidas AE 1 has remained a major correctness amongst basketball Low. As we're gearing up for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season, Edwards and adidas basketball will be introducing the new adidas AE 2, in 2025.
Based off the sample images of the adidas AE 2, the overall style of the shoe remains fairly similar. The most notable change will be the missing honeycomb side ventilation, which is replaced with a lightweight knit material. Additionally, we'll see TPU reinforcements across the upper for stability. The rest of the upper still features a small neoprene bootie, and the laces tucked underneath the overlays to avoid being untied. Finishing off the shoe, a classic rubber outsole with strategically placed ridges for ADIDASFALCON will be found.
