Despite only ever releasing in four colorways, the YEEZY white 750 remains one of the most popular models from Kanye’s adidas era.
First introduced in February 2015 as part of the YEEZY white Season 1 collection during New York Fashion Week, the release of the YEEZY white 750 marked the beginning of a new era in sneaker culture and fashion. The YEEZY white 750 was the first sneaker to be released under the newly-formed YEEZY white brand, marking it one of the most anticipated sneaker releases of all time.
The model was initially released in a limited quantity of 9,000 pairs in its OG “Light Brown” build, with follow-up efforts in “Triple Black,” “Chocolate,” and “Glow” — parallel to the YEEZY white 350 V1 — all of which sold out in seconds. A new era in footwear was born.
But before we got there, Kanye West and the adidas designers went through rigorous rounds of sampling to ensure that the product was just right — a habit that continued until his final days with the German athletic company. Now, eight years after the model’s debut, we get our best look yet one just one of those samples, the pair were seen in Kanye’s very first leak of the silhouette in late 2014.

You’ll note several structural changes between this sample and the OG release, including modified toe boxes and chunkier, textured strap plastics, as well as a simple lace swap and a warmer time applied to the BOOST-loaded sole unit beneath. You’ll also spot added lace locks and gold zips, Ye’s original angelic logo on the insoles and outsole toe; the latter sporting a different tread pattern, too.
See for yourself below, and if you’re in the market for one of the four aforementioned colorways, you will find ample pairs available on aftermarket sites like StockX, GOAT, and Kicks Crew.
