Vans OTW Quarter SK8HI Releases in White this Week

At the start of 2021, COMME des GARÇONS delivered an ultra-versatile effort with Vans on the Old Skool. It took the classic black and white scheme and tacked on oversized foxing, complete with CDG branding below that achieved a balance of under and over-statements. Now, 12 months on, the two parties will finally release their sophomore effort — in white.

Keeping the same printed sole unit, the changes are made exclusively to the upper. Here, it’s white uppers are met with tonal leather Jazz Stripes and textile laces, and is sandwiched between bone suedes at the heel, toe, and eyestay overlays that result in an elevated aesthetic.
