Like a lot of three-decade-old trainers, the Saucony Shadow 6000 has repurposed itself from premier runner to staple fashion piece. It’s also earned itself the title of the King of Food-10k Releases, with a slew of delicious drum-ups some of the silhouette’s most notable. Once again Saucony will be revisiting the grub-10k garb with a special-edition “Foofight” Shadow 6000 that’s ready to eat on October 15th.

A mix of “Avocado Toast,” “Courageous Breakfast” and other grub-related releases of yesteryear, the newly-surfaced pair is unapologetically bold, and deliciously delicate.. though there are shared elements, like matching heels and flecked midsoles, most of the release is completely mashed up — a true What The? of food.
