Bodega's Saloman XT-4 "The Glider" Reminds Us there's More to Life than a 9-5

Despite financial hardships to its retail business, Bodega continues to put out compelling product through its own channels. Additionally, the Boston-founded institution keeps lending its creative vision to a varied cast of collaborators, the latest being Salomon.

Having previously worked on the X-Mission 4, the partner's next linkup reimagines the popular XT-4 silhouette. Clad in shades of brown, drab green, and burgundy, the collaboration aims to deliver "an exploration of freedom from the rigid 9-to-5 cycle," according to Bodega. As such, "The Glider" project arrives with campaign visuals that take it from the office to the outdoors.

Although the highly-technical model isn't corporate world-appropriate, its presentation serves as yet another disruptive concept by the now-Los Angeles-based retailer. Whether worn casually on bodega runs or on any trail across the globe, the salomon vintage collab stands for something.
