Despite its consistent disruption within the for of sport, PUMA continues to celebrate its past, reissuing and reimagining silhouettes from its expansive archive. The Mostro Mule is an example of the latter, taking 1999's unconventional design and modifying it for modern needs.

Like the Mostro Fey, the newly-surfaced slip-on indulges in heritage, but falls in line with current trends. The design's Mule edition was introduced to the for with the help of Louis Gabriel Nouchi's Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show last year. Inline versions of the Mostro Mule are seemingly identical to the high fashion collaboration, although inaugural styles opt for more summer-friendly tones.

The molded upper abandons the velcro-assisted straps of the original PUMA Mostro from 26 years ago. Instead, the rear-half of the upper is stripped down to reveal an easily-accessible footbed. Underfoot, the aggressive, monstrous rubber outsole keeps things familiar.
