Hot on the heels of its nostalgic team-up with GAP, London-based Palace Skateboards has joined forces with Japanese denim titan Evisu.

The Palace x Evisu collaboration is a throwback to the '90s, a decade when Evisu's baggy jeans and distinctive seagull logo became symbols of underground cool. This new collection breathes fresh life into those iconic designs, introducing a series of denim pieces adorned with rolling dice prints—a nod to both brands' playful spirit and risk-taking ethos.

Key pieces include panelled trucker jackets, generously cut five-pocket jeans, and a selection of zip-up hoodies—all crafted from Evisu’s premium raw Japanese denim. The collection also features jorts (jean shorts) for the warmer days ahead, collared cardigans in vibrant red and subtle beige, and an array of co-branded t-shirts that fuse the aesthetic identities of both brands.

Beyond clothing, the collaboration extends to lifestyle items like reconstructed tote bags, custom dice sets, and intricately embroidered caps, each piece echoing the collection's overarching theme of casual rebellion.

To bring the collaboration to life, Palace and Evisu enlisted Detroit-based musician John FM to star in a dynamic video campaign directed by Rollo Jackson. Captured on the gritty streets of Detroit, the campaign also features appearances by emerging artist Hi-Tech and Palace pro skater Jamal Smith, underscoring the city’s rich street culture and the collection's raw, energetic vibe.

The PALACE x EVISU Spring 2024 collection is set to drop on April 19 at 11 a.m. EST, available online and in Palace and Evisu stores. With this partnership, Palace and Evisu not only celebrate their shared heritage of streetwear innovation but also offer a bold reminder of the enduring cool of '90s denim.
