Anchored in the titular hue at both its textile bases and topography-printed heel clip, the pair is hit with colorful contrasting by-way-of Red Plum and Grand Purple, across the tongues, liner, Swooshes, and midsoles. Quick flashes of Volt at the lateral forefoot and medial Swooshes add some electricity but they’re not regarded as the pair’s most striking feature. The marbleized outsoles sure catch the eye, but it’s the rear graphic bootie that adds the most intrigue, appearing to slot somewhere between an electrical storm, outer space, and 80s sci-fi.
