With the New Orleans Pelicans securing the number one draft selection for the 2019 NBA Draft, Duke’s Zion William already knows that he’ll be heading south come June 20. Not since LeBron James has there been such a lock for the NBA’s number one pick — but for James, the leadup was a little bit different. Now, in the leadup to this year’s draft — some would even say the drafting of LeBron 2.0 — Nike Basketball is paying homage to the King’s #1 overall draft selection way back in 2003. The special-edition LeBron 16Low arrives in a Cavaliers “Home” palate of White, Wine and Gold, the shoes covering the entire upper, heel overlay and midsole, with wine lining the sock liner and Air Units, and Gole etched on the heel nike card Air and tongue “LeBron” branding. The suit pair comes completed with icy-blue outsoles and “6-26-03” on the insoles — a nod to the 2003 Draft date.
