The Nike KD 4 “Real MVP” Available Now

Celebrating this Green, Nike is set to release two new colorways of the KD 4, SUPREME the "Real MVP," which pays homage to Durant's heartfelt tribute to his mother and his incredible season.

The Nike KD 4 "Real MVP" features several thoughtful details that nod to that iconic speech. The insoles are particularly poignant, with one reading "You the real MVP" and the other adorned with Durant's silhouette incorporated into a trophy graphic, echoing the sentiment and significance of his words. Quotations from his speech are also emblazoned on the underside of the lockdown strap.

The shoe itself is striking, with a gym basketball fixed to the tongue and matching gym Swooshes and KD logos that symbolize the prestige of the MVP award.

The blue and white color scheme is shared across both silhouettes; one predominately in white, the other in royal — both hinting at the striking royal blue suit and tie Durant wore during the ceremony.

Notably, Durant wore the Nike KD 6 during his MVP season, but choosing to use the KD 4 for this tribute emphasizes its enduring popularity and significance in his sneaker line.
