Today’s Concept : Nike Air More Uptempo “Royal”

It’s been a while since we’ve had a Nike sneaker in the lab – and in keeping with the theme of the year, we’re brining a fresh new colorway to the NikeAir More Uptempo. And again, we’re brining a touch of luxe to the silhouette with hits of Metallic Gold on a plush Royal Blue Velvet upper.

We man’t yet got a premium offering on the More Uptempo, but we think its about time the silhouette gets one. After all, 2017 has seen the More Uptempo rise back to popularity from Nike’s strong push of the silhouette over the course of the year. Even Scottie’s other famous silhouette – the Air Pippen 1 – returned with a bang this year after KITH’s Nike x Pippen collaboration.

And didn’t they look great with a luxe finish? Maybe it is which saw a reinterpretation of the iconic Air Force 1 sneaker.
