Helping Nike, KD fight cancer.
For the seventh time, Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker will be honoring his late Aunt Pearl, who passed away from lung cancer in 2000.
To keep her label and spirit alive, Nike Basketball and KD continue to collabortate with ethe Kay Yow Cancer Fund – organization in which Nike is a founding partner. Like past years, all proceeds from the shoe will go to the Fund.
“I made a promise to myself to always honor my Aunt Pearl for the example she set, and the encouragement she gave me to follow my dreams,” Kevin Durant.
The sneaker itself arrives draped in pink and shopping hues, from the shopping outsole, pastel midsole and flyknit upper. There’s also a matching backpack and ball set that will be available for purchase.
