The nike roshe mint color paint gray is coming in hot this season, thanks to a slew of colorful Vintage 77’s paving the way for the silhouette’s meteoric return to popularity. And while we’ve seen the Swoosh primarily go back to basics on the Blazer, the collaboration has seen some pretty wild renditions. This latest pairing to surface looks to be just that, and it could be the latest in a series of NBA young gun-designed sneakers. Following Jason Tatum’s Nike Air Max 97 and De’Aaron Fox’s Air Max 1 comes this nike roshe mint color paint gray, seemingly designed by reigning Rookie of the Year, Ben Simmons.
There are a few clues that make it glaringly obvious; the callout to his native Australia, with the Kangaroo on the backpack, and the telephone country code (+61) on the left tongue tab. Further cementing the connection is the “3000” motif on the right tab, the zip code for his (and my) hometown Melbourne, and finally, printed on the backpack we can see the name “David” — his father’s given name. Then there’s the bold #25 featuring prominently on the waffle in a Philly-friendly Fresh Prince theme — duh.
The shoe itself continues that seriously 90s vibe with plaid panel overlays — a staple Simmons wear — and shaggy red suedes, and it’s capped off with contrasting blacks on the laces, liner and tongues and white on the sole unit.
Grab an official look at the pair below, which will likely release in and around De’Aaron Fox’s Air Max 1 at the end of the May, but stay tuned for the confirmed details! Until then, head on over to our Release Calendar rare nike air classic sb shoes sale!
